Notes A private invitation-only function to celebrate the retirement from public service of a great chap - Brian Quintin-Baxendale. The Barnstormers on this occasion were: Doogie White (Michael Schenker Band) - Lead Singer Benjy Reid (Praying Mantis) - Drums PJ Phillips - Base Andy Barnett - Lead guitar Plus cameo performances by: Pat Cash (as in the 1987 Wimbledon Champion) Adrian Smith (Iron Maiden) Tino Troy (Praying Mantis) Dave "The Bucket" Colwell (Bad Company) The Turk's Head is now famous as a rugby pub but it has a musical claim to fame too. The Beatles film A Hard Days Night saw Ringo playing darts in the bar - it's been a place of pilgrimage for fans of the fab four ever since. Images
