| chrisb 8th Jan 2019 | In an interview played recently on BBC Radio 4, following his death, recording engineer Geoff Emerick said that the sound of the first Beach Boys show that he recorded on this tour, at the Palladium, was terrible as the Beach Boys drummer was too loud. So he recorded the band again at this Finsbury Park Astoria show and put the drummer behind a glass screen and got a perfect recording. | |
| chrisb 26th Aug 2017 | Two shows played. Both shows recorded by EMI and, edited together, became the 'Live in London' album, released in 1970. | |
