 "D.J's" like that I've generally found to be rather smug, arrogant and obnoxious. Just two minutes of that sort of stuff at full volume genuinely makes me feel ill... it triggers some hidden gene within me that makes me feel nauseous and as if I'm going mad, the sensation of my brain trying to explode. Tinnitus is guaranteed. What is it with people who like that sort of "music"? They always have to play it at deafening volumes! I've had the misfortune to have neighbours who play that sort of stuff nonstop all day and night. Awful.

 We had a similar experience while on holiday out of season in Fuerta Ventura last year where the DJ played very loud rap & hip hop all day long round the pool area. Most of the people were couples in their 40's, 50's & 60's, and many ended up going to the beach or for a walk or ANYTHING!!!. He was asked a few times to turn it down or play something else but to no avail.

Common sense- Nah !!!

 these were a Dutch Beatles tribute band. They did the show in three separate sections,the early years,the, the Sgt.Pepper era & the later years. I'll upload some photos to give everyone a flavour of what it was like.We went to see them again in Magaluf in 2005 in some club. After the first section of the show I noticed they were unplugging their gear & packing it away. I asked one of them why they had stopped & he said they had been told to pack up because they weren't loud enough.What a load of crap.The place was full of people I'd say in their 50's & 60's who had come just to see them. the DJ then started to play rap & hip-hop music at about volume level 100, which soon emptied the place.
