This gig and the one on the previous night were low key, not widely advertised shows to ease in new bass player Paul Clifford before The Wonder Stuff embarked on a European Tour with The Mission.

With the addition of multi-instrumentalist Martin "Fiddley" Bell making them a five piece the band were billed as The Ten Legged Groove Machine.
