A real longshot here - I remember going to the Wake in the dead of winter to see Trees, probably before this gig (I was 15 at the time I believe). There was a blizzard and only three of the band were able to get there (the Wake being in the middle of the Epping Forest), sadly not including Celia Humphris who was the focus of our adolescent fantasies. Undaunted the three heroes played a rousing set (probably more jigs and fewer songs than usual) - at the end we, and the Bikers who made up most of the patrons, piled out into the snow. Our Dads had to turn out in treacherous conditions to get us - as I've subsequently done willingly for my kids. OK, I've run on a bit, but my question is, does anyone else remember this gig?
