 Gary Moore band got stuck in London traffic, so Gary Moore himself came on stage to do an excellent solo session, no backing whatsoever. Alex Harvey band were constantly bottled by people in the front rows, seemingly not enjoying their set. Alex bravely carried on through the carnage. Manfred Mann's earthband were superb in their allotted time and headliners Uriah Heep, were, as expected, on top form.
