FredClemens 21st Jan 2015		The "Young Man With A Horn" on the cover is Frankie Avalon. On the back cover is Avalon along with Ray Anthony. Both shared the same manager, Fred Benson. It was Anthony who discovered Avalon and brought him under his wing, getting him a recording contract with RCA and their newly formed "X" division. The article on him tells that Frankie was then just 12 years old. That would make his birth year to be 1941 (his birthday is September 18). Conflicting hype says he was born in 1939 or 1940. However, Census records indicate that his true birth year was 1940. Fred
