First issue of the new sister publication of the established Scallywag Dorset magazine. Published by controversial investigative and campaigning journalist Simon Regan.

chrisb 21st Dec 2017		Following the death of his father, Regan moved to London and launched a London-wide (issues 1-6), then national (issue 7 onwards) version of Scallywag in 1991. Two of his three brothers come on board with him, Angus James Wilson and cartoonist Robin. A fourth brother, Charles, stood as the Scallywag candidate in Hampstead in the 1992 General Election, to generate publicity. Scallywag folded in 1995 with at least 30 issues published, although it ran on (maybe online?) until Issue 36 in September 1998. In 1995 Angus continued with the short-lived Spiked magazine. (Angus was killed in a car accident in Cyprus in 1996 whilst visiting fugitive businessman Asil Nadir.) The Dorset Scallywag magazine also continued until January 1993.
