Pridesale 25th Sep 2015		I would like more of these. I cannot recall where I bought my (part) run of these from. Like the other London Boroughs, Barking and Dagenham was brought into being 1 April 1965. Looks like Dagenham got the short straw, and its municipal missive (if Any) , merged into what remained being called the Quarterly Journal of The London Borough of Barking , on its main tag-line. Otherwise municipal pride of the 60s and 70s was shown in these informative journals. Although B&D gain bits of Chadwell Heath, the printer was C.W.Clark (Printers) Ltd (T.U.) 6-14 High Road, Ilford, Essex., which was in Borough of Redbridge (Ilford). Produced in the Days before postcodes, and direct London telephone dialling, all things familar to 45cat
