Lee Wrecker 22nd Dec 2016		UK barcode will probably not match. Interesting isn't it; 1. The CDs attached to these magazines are all listed on 45 Worlds as domestic UK releases and they have no barcode or cat# - I suggested they we're international but was howled down. 2. The actual magazines (see scan this page showing UK, Canadian and USA prices) are printed in two forms for consumption in the domestic UK market (only has UK price) and the international as above. 3. The domestic and international versions of this magazine carry different barcodes. Does that make them separate releases? If so the aforementioned CDs would be both domestic and international releases and yet identical. 4. This situation is repeated with the other global rock super mag Mojo in some instances but not in all, whereby sometimes the Mojo magazines barcodes match and sometimes they don't. So in cases where they barcodes match that issue of Mojo is international and where they don't there are both international and domestic issues of the same magazine and corresponding CDs. Are you still with me, 5.Depending on how people interpret the 45World CD guidelines the CDs attached to these magazines could be considered UK releases (the current norm) or alternately as international or even both. 6. The CDs from these magazines being listed as UK releases is convenient but the corresponding magazines the CDs are sourced from with different barcodes doesn't sit well with this classification. 7. Listing, as I am here, the corresponding magazines to the CDs in the same way the CDs are listed as UK releases is just not right but surely the CD and magazine should match if the CD classification is correct. So, Houston we have a problem and the only way out looks like a twisty turny road to a rancid can of worms I don't want open. For now though I'm listing these all as UK releases whether the barcodes correspond or not just because it matches the way the CDs are listed on 45Worlds. I don't have the acumen to work this one out send in the brainboxes because my brain hurts.
