At the bottom of one side of the poster insert, below the R Cobb drawing, there is a short announcement which states: 'Love. Apology. We had hoped to include an article on Arthur Lee,Love and California which was being prepared by our American sister magazine Da Capo/Vibrations. However, despite two transatlantic phone calls, it could not be ready in time - its still being edited from the original 40 page manuscript. BUT! It should be ready in time for our January issue.....we hope!'
It's possible this finally saw the light of day in August 1971- see my comment and editorial page scan on Zigzag Issue 21, but as the Aug ‘71 Love special issue is, I think, all a ZigZag May ‘71 interview with Snoopy (ex from Love) maybe the above article was never printed by ZigZag.
Includes double-sided poster entitled "Zigzag super bits & pieces pull-out supplement" - includes full-size socio-political poster by R. Cobb; photo of Edgar Broughton Band gigging
