New Musical Express		Also featured: Jethro Tull, Jerry Wexler (label chief of Atlantic Records), Midem Gala at Cannes (with Mary Hopkin and Joe Tex), Musical 'Hair' in London, Andy Fairweather-Lowe, Duane Eddy (first British vocal disc, "Break My Mind"), Junior Wullie Campbell (of The Marmalade), Cilla Black marries her personal manager Bobby Willis. Tribute to Buddy Holly on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of his death (3rd February, 1959). New to the charts: The Tymes ("People").
By the way: The advertisement for their single "Touch Me" on the front page is the only reference to The Doors in this issue.
