TopPopper 4th Nov 2013 | | MagazineThe Beatles Book Monthly (1967) | This is the kind of thing which adds to the rumour mill. Paul's Mini Cooper was NOT in his garage - it was written off in a car crash, which presumably sparked the original rumour that he'd been killed there and then. The car was actually being driven by a friend of his and Paul wasn't inside - but the story published here contains disinformation.

TopPopper 4th May 2013 | | MagazineTV Times (1969) | I agree - they should be like alternative editions of the same. Usual process is not to include pages from inside (although personally, I love these!), so just the cover with the region stated on it would normally suffice.
I remember in the 1980s living in an area where we could receive Central, Anglia and TVS broadcasts and we had a TV with a tuning knob instead of buttons, so we could scan around and pick them all up. We got to know certain nights, which channel was better - I remember Hill Street Blues was on - different episodes on different nights, at different times, depending which region it was in. We were getting two or three episodes a week.

TopPopper 17th Apr 2013 | | MagazineLife (1969) | When the mag went to press, it was hoped that the McCartney interview would spell the end of the death rumour. Alas, there was an ad for a car on the inside cover and when you hold the cover up to the light, it looks like the McCartney family are being mown down by the car! Another "clue" for believers...
