kab2112 SUBS 3rd Jul 2020
| | There were four of us going to this gig, I was the only driver. I managed a betting shop in those days and getting time off at Bank Holiday weekends was nearly impossible. We left Caernarfon about 8pm on the Saturday night to travel down what would be nearly all single lane A and B roads in those days. After spending the day in the concert area, we travelled back overnight, giving just enought time for a shower and change of clotihng before opening the shop on the Bank Holiday Monday at 9am. Another busy bank holiday day.at work
Does anyone remember Pro-Plus???. These were legal pep pills sold in chemists and I had one or three of these to keep me awake. Couldn't even blink according to my wife who was with me. The two guys that were with us sadly passed a few years ago. |

kab2112 SUBS 2nd Jul 2020
| | ReviewCould only make the Sunday due to work commitments. The line ups were not the same as the schedule as I remember. Donovan put in an appearance and he wasn't in the schedule. Led Zeppelin, Jefferson Airplane and Frank Zappa all gave good performances on the day. Led Zep in fine form with a good setlist as I remember. I was not a Frank Zappa fan but was quite impressed with his set. Grace Slick done a fine job fronting Jefferson Airplane.

| | All booklet Scans now added.
We have two copies of this, both signed on the front by Robert Plant at a gig in Bangor in 2002.
My wife and I both bought a programme at the festival. |

| | All (limited edition) second issue copies are signed by promoter, Freddy Bannister. Apart from having slightly thicker paper, the second issue states a reprint date on the inside back cover.
Also, don't know about you, but my memory is of the artist times and running order varying considerably from the official programme - best to keep it as it is.
Just for the hell of it I've added a pic of Colosseum (somewhere behind the tents!) |

| | Although the notes refer to a second edition, this is the original that was bought on the day at the festival and autographed by Robert Plant at a gig in Bangor in 2002 |

| | I've added a flyer that came with the programme on the day as I remember. It is not directly related to the Bath festival and perhaps should have it's own entry ????
The programme has a price tag of 3/- which is 15p in today's money |
