In the summer of 1979 me, my mate, and a couple of others, decided to go up to
John Lydons house in London Gunter Grove Chelsea, My mate had acquired his
address plus his autograph a few weeks before, a couple took their album covers
to be signed that was if John Lydon was in, we knocked on the door, this bloke we
didn't know answered, my mate said "is he in" meaning John Lydon he said he
wasn't, but he went away and came back with 4 of these massive PIL posters which
he gave us which was good of him. My mate gave him is album cover of the first
PIL album to sign hoping he would sign it then go back for it sometime in the future,
but he never went back to get it. Then we went and had a drink in the Worlds End pub
