Bag is circa 1974, but impossible to date precisely.

Back of bag promotes the Top of the Pops LP series, which were quite possibly not stocked in a 'proper' record shop such as this.

 the guy who sold it kept a concession to put games machines (fruit machines?) in some of the stores. I remember him coming around to Our Price Queensway, when I worked there in 81 or 82. to empty out the coins. Always arrived in a Rolls Royce.

 Harlequin Records and Tapes was a Soho-based retailer which ran a chain of stores in the UK. They were independent in the 1970s, but were eventually bought out by Our Price.
