| | An 1927 example of the sheet music can be seen at The Strong (National Museum of Play).
If we were to keep the 1927 date, then it would have to be as Artist = [none], so it wouldn't show up in Connie's listings.
It seems more sensible to date this 1959/60, then it can stay in Connie Francis' listing? |

| | Point well taken. OR!!!!..........because as the lister of all of this sheet music I prefer the actual publishing date vs. the date of her individual performance of the song....anyone curious enough about the performance date of any song can always go over to the 7" (45 and EP) portion of this amazing site and look up the record title there. Each and every piece of sheet music will have the 45 equivalent on the site. Just sayin'..........Who is this Taylor Swift everyone is talking about here????? |

| | Surely it makes more sense to put the date of the particular artists rendition?
Could put the actual music publishing date in the notes.
It's quite misleading as the thing that's being listed here is about Connie Francis and should reflect when she actually did it.
If it was a 45 or LP or tape it would be the date she did it. Why can't the sheet music do the same?
Just saying. |

| | Thanks for the info,
That must have been why I did not see her listed in the 1927 top 40 charts.
and who is Taylor Swift? |

| | Most of you guys must not be too familiar with the music or people of the 50,s and 60,s. Connie was born December 12, 1938 which now makes her 76. She is a singer, composer, actress, entertainer and publisher. She joined ASCAP in 1959. In her day she was as big as Taylor Swift. The date for the sheet music is 1927 because that is when it was published, not recorded by Connie. |
