scrough 4th Nov 2022		Music Memorabilia Various Artists - HMV Catalogue No 2 (1924)	Sorry Robert, but this edition of the No 2 catalogue is definitely 1924. The No 2 catalogue was published annually for around a decade until it was reintroduced into the annual catalogue, so which ever one you are looking at with 1930 dates in it is a later edition. And there is no such thing as a No 1 catalogue.

scrough 9th Nov 2019		Music Memorabilia [none] - Gramophone &Typewriter Gramophones And Prices (1901)	Downloadable from here. The £10 top-of-the-line machine was equivalent to about £1,120 in todays money, with the 2 guinea hand cranked model (no clockwork motor!) equivalent to about £225. Records were equivalent to about £14 each - for a 2 to 3 minute recording on a 7 inch disc.

scrough 29th Aug 2019		Music Memorabilia Various Artists - Odeon Hovedkatalog 1938 (1937)	I've entered this as Denmark based on the 'danske Hovedrepertoire' on the title page. Is this correct? This catalogue was one of three Odeon catalogues all stamped with a Charlottenlund (Denmark) dealer's stamp. The other two are Swedish (see here and here) with Stockholm as the company address.
