Adding 78s - Good Practice ? / Matrix Numbers on Labels

Delete if you disagree

http://www.45worlds.com/78rpm/record/c3130 ( other than I got the images wrong way round ) , for a simple UK 78 I know - other discs can be a lot more complicated and even different label printings can change the details on the label , particulary treatment of abbreviations. What I have done with the detail is put it in record notes - of course if you dont have a good copy of both labels in front of your its difficult , but I do find putting matrix numbers in to be a help when the sides are re-issued , particulary by different successor labels or budget /premium imprints.

I note that others put in the diameter of the label , sorry I don't carry a ruler , maybe I should ( I cannot think of a standard 7" 45 having differing label diameters unlike both the differing 78 record diameters and label diameters - which again can vary over time.
