Topic: Can anyone identify the compilation LP?

 | TopPopper Member since Mar 2013 2612 Points | I just picked up some white label pressings with no sleeves. I have one, plain white labels, which I can't identify. It was pressed at Pye Studios, possibly for the Super Beeb label, although that's not certain. It contains various hits by the original artists. One side of the LP starts with "Can't Get By Without You" and ends with "Now Is The Time". The other side has "Isn't She Lovely" and others. Most of the batch I picked up are custom pressings of the BBC vinyl releases of the late-70s - their official LPs compilations linked to Top of the Pops TV show, or Radio 1, etc. These were mainly released on the Super Beeb label, and so this may well be from the same source. Searching around the net has proved fruitless. Anyone got any ideas? |
