I'll just add that I have the UK Decca main catalogue for 1974, which has indexes at the back for LP's and tapes under their alpha prefixes, and there are no cassettes or 8-tracks listed with release dates earlier than 1970 - October of that year is the earliest date listed for anything in the KSKC series (equivalent of full-price SKL LP's)....
