Topic: Are Some Magazines More Welcome Than Others?

Hey, I lived through it here in the States, and I don't remember a lot of these shows. Every Fall the networks would throw a bunch of new series against the wall to see which ones would stick, and a lot of them didn't.

Back in the 70s, before we had cable around here, there were only the three networks, ABC, CBS, and NBC, along with Public Broadcasting, a commercial free public supported channel. Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) is the only one to ever air shows from your side of the pond. I remember very well when I first saw "No, Honestly" when it aired on PBS. I think it ran on Sunday nights. I would try to remember to catch it when it came on.

PBS still airs shows from the UK. "Waiting For God" is one that's been running over here for a good while. Good show.
