You're absolutely right scrough... it is St Mary Cray, where my folks used to live. But it's not any of my relative's names on the sleeve; Still can't make out the name,but the address is No. 6, Wellington Road, St Mary Cray, Kent. Sterling work by the way scrough! Your mention of Ginger Rogers made me dash to get the sleeve out again and examine the "signitures" again, to see if I had a Ginger Rogers signature!!!! But unfortunately, I can't make out anything like that yet... but I can discern each name is prefixed by: "R M", which I thought were initials, but that seems to be the biggest coincidence in history if they all shared the same forename initials. The one immediately above the "Alice" in the front Title appears to read: "R M (small indistinct initial) Rogers S(?) John" and the one on the bottom left, on the back reads: "R M (small, barely noticeable initial) Laughton" the only other one that I can make anything of is the uppermost on the back, which seems like: "R M (tiny little mark/initial) Harry/Barry-(something)" (Harrywa/hewn(?)) I've even had a look inside the cover to see if there are any markings/print, but nothing is there. But thanks for your help with this, it moves me a little closer to identification with each post (Perhaps I could one day list it on this site, with Cat. No. and everything!)
