Not sure if this topic has been raised but I would like to start a list of albums that hardly ever get a mention but are, for whatever reasons, not classified as classics even though they are outstanding in their own field.

I would like to start off with the Isley Brothers and the album 'Live It Up'. Apart from the fact that it has some of the funkiest laid-back grooves around it also shows off the brilliant guitar skills of Ernie Isley. The title and opening track is unrivalled in a funky groove IMO.

Next I would like to nominate Icehouse and their brilliant album Love In Motion. Pure Pop magic, one and all. Standout tracks- Uniform, Street Cafe, Hey Little Girl and Glam.
