Thanks Trainman, (Bing is poo).

Just looking through the Philips entries on this site, and it seems the early UK ones were 10" 33 1/3 records, until you get to about Johnny Cash (The Fabulous Johnny Cash, in 58 where these become standard 12" (The 12" Minigroove LPs before that are Export editions like mine)... Then they seem to have stopped making the minigroove logo labels in 1960, (Somehwere between Duke Ellington and Johnny Horton) but continue to use the BBL Cat# prefix for a couple of records (But without minigroove logo), then go to an SBL (Stereo) and BL prefix.

So a couple of the early 12" (Dave Brubeck, Frankie Laine) ought to be listed as export LPs.

Also, When I looked earlier I did read somewhere (Think it was Hoffman Forum, but can't seem to find it again now) of someone who had some whichwere chemically treated, causing a dull sound... This "Snot" is on my record too, looks like the sheen on a badly washed window... should I wash this stuff off?
