 | boogiecam They don't make 'em like they used to. Member since Feb 2015 4 Points | 4-record set. "Drummin' with Krupa". Pressed on the Columbia label in London, Ontario, Canada, for the Canadian market. Pressed at Sparton Records which did a lot of work for Columbia up until around 1954. I am guessing it had a press run in the very,very low numbers since Canada was a small country and had a small population at the time. All 4 records, as well as the cover and sleeves are in very good to exellent condition. The original owner, who I knew quite well and who died just recently, wrote in his immaculate handwriting "Christmas 1946" on one of the sleeves. The ONLY place I can find mention of this is with the Library of Congress in Washington DC. |
