Obviously when reading my notes after a long day at work I see what I think I see - as you rightly point out Harvey is correct, my mistake.

Harvey Fuqua as you say was the common link with "The Moonglows" and "Harvey & The Moonglows", the later he formed with members of "The Marquees" when the original Moonglows group imploded.

Although I knew Marvin Gaye sang with Harvey & The Moonglows it wasn't till I started contributing to this thread that I sparked how he ended up at Motown. Never too old to learn something new.
