I'm just a casual T. Rex fan (The Slider is my fave), but I know there are several people here who collect Bolan's recordings passionately. I'm curious to know why there are now so many CDs of his material on so many labels. When I refresh the main page on the CD Albums section, in the Random CDs pane, nearly every time, a T. Rex album comes up, sometimes two or even three - all on different labels. It seems like everybody and his dog has issued a compilation of Bolan studio recordings or previously unreleased tracks.

They can't all be in the public domain yet, can they? Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.
