Well I've also given it a better listen since getting it down again... and I think that as for most people, it's growing on me.

It's a bit jarring first time round, if you're expecting a "Rolling Stones" type of experience, it will always suffer this comparison, and of course, being loomed over by the mighty shadow of Sgt. Pepper... but if you can come to appreciate it on it's own terms, it's really rather good.
