Thank you Dr. Doom for taking the time to read my post thoroughly and also for coming to the same conclusion in that this is an issue we quite frankly can't deal with. However, 45Worlds members from the southern hemisphere are running into problems like these all over the site.

When I first raised the issues that are now plainly apparent (see links in my first post below) when I was entering CDs from these magazines a year or so ago I was roundly brushed off and told I just don't understand by many MODS and 45Worlders in the northern hemisphere.

Now that I have produced the evidence that these Magazines and CDs are not correctly listed at all, it's all too hard to deal with. We, in this case Canadians, Americans, Australians and anyone else from around the world have to own UK issues of known international releases and have our measly barcodes tacked on in the notes. Intentional or not this scenario smacks of a deadly case of Anglophilia to me.

It can be very frustrating for users, particularly those from outside the UK and USA to find their locally made products internationalised at the drop of a hat and then conversely see the iron curtain go up when we present hard evidence in regard to making European or USA releases international.

I have been thinking about these problems for a while and was, until I saw this situation, close to having something nutted out for discussion. However, my ideas were based on using the current site design but having come across this conundrum I think changing the site design will need to be integral to finding a solution to the problems we're facing. This is something I know nothing about (well that hasn't stopped him before I hear whispering through cyberspace) so I think we may need to develop some parameters of what is possible not only in guidelines but design capabilities as well. I do agree though that for the moment this issue is best left well alone but would hasten to add it should be front and centre when we get the ball rolling to discuss how we can improve the entry problems we're currently facing across the site.

Encountering the fiasco outlined in my first post really caught me by surprise and sent me for a loop. Now where is my thinking cap? If anyone has ideas or thoughts that they think may be useful or need consideration feel free to put them forward.

Once again thanks for giving this due consideration Dr Doom.
