I'm a much bigger (better?) contributor to 45cat.com because I don't have a 30cm x 30cm scanner and I can't be bothered to "stitch" images together, so, in order to get an LP image up, I have to get out my digital camera and arrange the sleeve in good daylight but without any glare from the sun or external light source and then try and square it up so that the image has no keystoning (problems with perspective), remove the flash mode from the camera and snap away. Then I have to transfer all images to the computer with the SD card and further crop and edit each image of labels, sleeves (back and front) and so forth. This is not a neglible amount of work for something that is entirely voluntary and done for love. If there is a lack of images, we all need to be aware that there is a reason. I think we'll get there in the end, but we are talking about hundreds of thousands of man hours to get this website improved and it will be ongoing... or should I say endless?
