Not on the highest priority list perhaps, but would it be possible to standardise the CBS catalogue numbers in the 1970s. Almost all records were issued with S CBS before their number. This seems to have been accepted as the norm because 90% of 1970s UK LPs have been given S CBS or rarely M CBS when the record is Mono on the website.

However there are still 10% with just the number following the S CBS and it rankles (sad I know) that some of the entries follow the first rule and some don't. I think it is quite useful to have the Stereo or Mono initial as part of the Cat #, but would understand if the rule said just the number. Either way, it would be good to stick to one or the other.

Could a Mod have a look and where necessary, add the S CBS to bare numbers for the sake of standardisation, perhaps?
