Your projects will be taking most of your time and effort, but I hope you will also be able to make the occasional contribution to 78 RPM World. You mention that track rips are available to hear, so you might like to add suitable links to a few of our 78 pages. For example I chose one track from your 'Great78 Project' and added a link to the same record on 78cat, PC-7187 but I don't know if that is how you want to see it done. Nor do I understand why you offer 9 transcriptions of this one record. I for one would welcome further advice on how best to use the Project.
If you keep an eye on this forum you will occasionally see offers of 78s, even of complete collections, eg box of 78s or Disposal of large load of 78rpms beneficially without destroying them, though sadly the protagonists often do not stick around long enough to conclude any arrangements
Please let us know a specific channel through which we can offer unwanted 78s, likewise where we can send our own digitised sound files. I'm sure many of our contributors would be very interested to help
At present the only way that sound files can be embedded here is as YouTube links. Our Admin rely on the protection from copyright infringement that this ensures. If we come to recognise that archive.org can make a major contribution to 78cat it may become possible to reach some agreement with the site owners re your transcriptions.
btw, I have really only been aware of archive.org through the Wayback Machine, so it would be interesting to learn how this young offshoot came about
Regards - Jules
