Member since Jun 2014 3735 Points Moderator	I'm beginning to think that the "International" flag is best applied to the very earliest CDs... (Targets, and others manufactured in West Germany, and of course, Japan) ... as they were the the only ones making them (and capable of making them) initially... ...and then only recently, after the demise of EMI (seems something of a benchmark), when Omni-Consumer-Label Sony/Universal/BMG/Warner thing-a-majig bought up the rest of the world's combined musical output. So both ends of the CD story, at least, like closing the circle. This is therefore determined by the ability to make them, and how it relates to the development of markets the were sold to. (treaties, trade deals, and all the other overcomplicated crap that has lead to the global economic breakdown, as nobody actually understands what's happening anymore, let alone how to fix it - thanks to our monopolies and mergers committee, you've done a fantastic job these last few years!).
