I thought that might have been a reference to British Empire countries. I suppose the Beatles were on Indian 78s very late on but I’d rather stick to British 78s.

Cleo Laine is on the list. Joe Brown’s first Decca single was indeed available on 78rpm.

I'm a little late to this debate, but shouldn't Cliff Richard be omitted from this list on the basis that he was born in Lucknow, India?? :grin:
