According to my research the last Pye Nixa 78s are (N Prefix):

15244-Petula Clark: I Love a Violin/ Guitare et Tambourin

According to my notes, this was not issued on 78rpm. I probably took that from the Record Information Services label listing for Pye Nixa. Do you have a source which disagrees?

I took my info from that same source -- Paul Pelletier. Pye (Nixa) Complete British 78/45 rpm 15000 Singles Series: 1955-1965

Amy

Interesting, I've been under the impression it didn't exist. I'll have to dig out my copy of that listing. The record isn't on Popsike though, and surely a copy would have sold for enough money to be archived on there - unless it really is that rare or worthless. The New Records catalogue from January 1960 has (7)N15244 listed which suggests it was available on both formats, though there must be some reason I noted it in my database as 'no 78rpm'. And I took it off my 'wants' list. Hmmm.
