Revisiting this because I didn't think to check the release dates of all the other tracks on the LP (copy at Discogs), and going by the entries on this site, all were released as US RCA Victor singles in November or December 1955, with only Perry Como's "All At Once You Love Her" being earlier (October), so this can't have been released before Sun sold Elvis' contract to RCA. A couple of tracks were UK HMV singles in early '56, and I doubt that NZ would have got those tracks before UK did, although I suppose there's an outside chance this could have been a late December '55 release in NZ depending on when in December the later tracks were released, and how quickly they were sent to NZ, but given the typical delays between US/UK and Australian releases that I encountered when moving here in 1971, I really can't imagine that things would have been better across the Tasman 15-16 years earlier.
