Agree completely. The UK label was owned by Decca, and the US one by Chess (started in the late 50's), and was renamed to Cadet in the mid-60's. Ironically, both Decca and Chess are now owned by Universal Music Group. UK Argo was being used by Decca in the 90's (when they were under PolyGram ownership) for issues of (I think) early music, but I don't think it's being used any more. I think the UK spoken word catalogue was hived off to EMI at some point, and they put out several cassette reissues; God knows where it is now with different parts of EMI sitting with Universal and Warners!
