Topic: Rhino re-releases of WEA back catalogue

 | Lee Wrecker If you can't dig me, you can't dig nothin' Member since Nov 2013 2282 Points | Is the label here really Sire or is it Rhino or is it Sire / Rhino or Rhino / Sire as I have listed one here. Rhino vinyl seems to have access to the WEA back catalogue and has re-released a lot of stuff from the old Sire and Elektra labels. This problem is compounded by the different rights and even different labels in some cases that existed at the time of the original releases (ie. The Cure). Further complicated by the fact that some of these albums are made in the EU and repackaged in US jackets. Here's an example of that happening it doesn't make it easy does it? |
