Member since Aug 2012 6397 Points	warner music group (then part of time warner) have owned half of rhino entertainment since 1992, when they bought a 50% share as part of taking over distribution (previously capitol/emi), and all of it since 1998; prior to this it was an independent. rhino's founders, harold bronson and richard foos, left the warner music group-owned company in 2003, setting up shout! factory. rhino records uk seems to be the continuation of warner strategic marketing. that the re-releases are actually by rhino, albeit using the images of another music label, ought (imnsho) to be recognised in the "cdcat" listing, by the suggested option of "$foo / rhino".
