	kab2112 SUBS Wales, where men are men and sheep are nervous Member since Jan 2011 15476 Points Moderator	These days pregnant women are strongly advised not to smoke or drink alcohol during pregnancy as it is likely to affect the child’s health and even shorten it’s life expectancy. When this old fart was born nearly everyone smoked everywhere including in hospital beds where doctors doing their rounds also smoked bedside. Pregnant women who were partial to a drop or two carried on as normal. The problem now is that us old farts are living too long when if we applied the thinking of today, we should all be long gone or on our death beds. We are both non smokers here who enjoy a social drink with friends and family.
