There is a limited quantity of these lacquers and only 14" lacquers for 12" records are available. Since these are 14" records, they won't fit on your turntable, so Reference Lacquers and Dub Plates can't be cut until 12" and smaller plates become available. The Apollo lacquer cost for a pair of 10" masters was $44.00. Since 7" records will need to use 14" masters costing $80.00 for the pair, the cost has increased by $36.00. That is all Aardvark is marking up the price for 7" mastering. Aardvark has no guarantee of receiving lacquers. Our distributer will attempt to supply 25 lacquers per month, but that is not a guarantee. Therefore we may be limited to cutting a maximum of 12 projects per month. Due to the short supply worldwide, these prices might increase if the cost of materials increases."
