I think the usual advice offered to anyone venturing afresh into the market is to perhaps get a copy Record Collector Magazine's: Rare Record Price Guide...
(But this is of limited and diminishing value in my opinion, as it's published every couple of years, excludes way too much that isn't strictly, and exclusively UK issue, and the genre focus is more specialised... and frankly, it can't keep up with market changes anymore)
...or head over to Discogs, for an active market, or check ebay's sold listings (available listings are over-inflated and wildly optimistic). You can also see collated auction data at Popsike or Gripsweat.
(Gripsweat has unlimited searches for non members, but basically does the same thing as Popsike).
I would however be cautious right now, as (sorry for referring to it) I personally think The Coronavirus and it's economic effects subsequently are going to "correct" market values, which have been creeping up inexorably for a few years now, and I don't think achieving previous market values may be feasible after this.
(This is why I have refrained from adding any valuations to this site and 45cat, as I think they are pretty much, at a stroke, rendered obsolete - except for the occasional exceptional items).
But good luck selling, and keep a particular eye out for certain Classical music albums (often overlooked in general reckoning)... that's where the real money is to be found most often.
