Topic: Ravi Shankar at Woodstock

 | Break-In Master Member since Dec 2013 252 Points | I'm in the process of editing all the new material from the 50th Anniversary edition of Woodstock (38 CD's) into the recordings I've had for at least a decade (lots of stuff that's not on the 50th) I'm having an issue with the Ravi Shankar performance, though. What I've got is longer than what's on the 50th but, only small bits of two of the tracks I have match up with what's on the 50th! I've checked YT for recordings of his performance at Woodstock and they both are from different sources and they both match what I've already got! Does anyone here know for sure which set of these recordings is the real Woodstock performance? I'd LIKE to have this all settled and done with before the anniversary this Aug.. Somewhat helpful would be knowing exactly how long he played! |
