Looking at the titles about all bar one I dont think sold much in any format. I wonder if many sold in the likes of places like scotland. Also if you think about it by 1959 a lot of the terraced houses were starting to be replaced by smaller flats, older people were getting , well, old, and Pye were really pushing LP compilations of their artist roster so I can see how they could easily not get pressed for orders to many places. Anyone got record shop photos of 1959 (department stores) of the likes of Liverpool / Newcastle / Leeds or memories of the merchandising of 78s in that year ?

I almost wonder for 1960 that the internal available on 78 meant more by retailer request - there may have only been a couple of plant operators turning out a batch of 500 for a distributor I think Pye had lost the Mercury distribution so that cut down at the time what Pye was handling.
