Topic: Velvet Sleeves

 | OzRocker Member since Feb 2022 3 Points | I picked up a vinyl record by Finish band HIM a few years ago in Europe that has a Limited edition of the 7" vinyl housed in a luxury velvet sleeve. I'm curious to find out more about vinyl albums that have been released with this kind of velvet packaging, when did velvet pressings begin, who was the first, are there other bands releasing in this kind of packaging etc, that sort of background info would be much appreciated. |
