By choosing 1940, you've got one of the most difficult years to start with because of various UK record industry problems at the start of wartime, and later. I assume you are using the Steve Waters book as the source for these queries, so it would be very helpful if you could add any label and catalogue number it gives in your queries. That would save a lot of time, as we wouldn't have to search all the UK companies for issues. And would you now update your perceived success rate please? Are we providing sufficient information and/or suggestions to convince you?
