Many many thanks to all those members who have taken the trouble to send me snippets of information about these elusive 78’s I have been told that the forum is not the place to put wants lists, I do apologise as I did not think I was doing anything wrong. I am still trying to find any recordings of the following tracks either on original 78’s or on any compilations. If any members can help me in this final forum request please get in touch just to prove their existence
Somewhere In France With You/I'll Remember - Leslie Hutchinson (Hutch) issued around January 8th 1940 (Catalogue Number - Parlophone F1614)
It’s Always You – Leslie Hutchinson HMV B.D. 929
You & I – Leslie Hutchinson HMV B.D. 966
I Don’t Want To Set The World On Fire – HMV B.D. 972

Have drawn a total blank on these discs by “Hutch”
I have received much useful information about how shellac discs were recycled during the war years and even a catalogue promoting the sale of these records but as yet nobody anywhere has been able to locate any copies or any recordings
Drawn a blank on this one too

Goodnight Children Everywhere - Phyliss Robins 1940 Parlophone F 1643

Was sent some publicity saying it was issued but have yet to see a copy or photo shot of this disc....Never even heard it Has anybody ?
The Blackout Stroll – Oscar Rabin Rex R 9710
Received some information from as far afield as Australia....The title is sometimes hyphenated, sometimes not, but this seems to be another one of those discs that were deleted and the shellac recycled....The catalogue number appears in The Rex catalogue for 1940 but as yet nobody has said that they have heard it or seen it....Perhaps another one that I will give up on, just do not like to be defeated
Goodnight Children Everywhere – Issy Bonn HMV B.D. 797
It appears that no copies of this quickly deleted disc has survived in the rush to recycle shellac into more popular platters I got a message from a member saying they had it but no reply from my request for a photo shot.
Ready to put this one to bed and give up on it that I shall never have the delight of hearing it before I kick the bucket
Goodnight My Beautiful – Beryl Davis Decca F 7333
I think that I have to take on board the fact that the compilers of the book "The Missing Charts" are prone to errors just like the rest of us.....They were, to be fair, working from slips of paper that had been stored away for decades and it is evident that mistakes have crept in....To all intents & purposes, nobody has seen or heard this disc so it is more than likely that they have put down the title amiss and it is really some other track unless some member can come along and prove all this conjecture wrong.

Safe In My Arms - Turner Layton Columbia FB 2421
I think that this one might be one of those that the title has got confused somewhere before publication as I can find no evidence of this despite it having a catalogue number.

There seem to be quite a few of these Columbia FB Titles that are a bit suspect, I can readily accept that they were deleted quickly but to have no photographic evidence at all leads me to believe that some errors have been made in compiling the book "The Missing Charts".
