Can anyone tell me if Phyllis Robins recorded a track called "My Daddy" Again The Missing Hits states she did but I and other members have yet to hear or see it Does anyone have any information ?
The Man Who Came Around - Squadronaires Decca F 7480

Many thanks to the member who sent me a complete recording list of this RAF Forces group that was, to their knowledge, accurate.....However this title was not in the list so it could be doubly suspect as to perhaps wrong title or wrong artists......The book "The Missing Charts" was compiled by amalgamating sheet music sales with record company entries and as such was given a catalogue number but alas, no member has come across it despite delving into barns and cellars....last chance saloon on this one as I am ready to give up on it......

Dreaming - Beryl Davis Decca F 7472
This is perhaps a case of a prophetic title as I cannot verify its existence .I am not the only member to think that they are dreaming that this disc is hidden somewhere Perhaps another example of a corrupted title finding its way into publication, that certainly seems to be the most probable scenario....Listed as available in the Decca catalogue but it must have had an extraordinary short lifespan.
Poor Turner Layton seems to have more than his fair share of impossible to locate platters as I have found at least 7 that have vanished into the ether without a whiff of proof that they had visited us.......My final shot in the dark for today are these titles that I have drawn a total blank on.

We'll Go Smiling Along - Turner Layton Columbia FB 2486
Only Forever – Turner Layton Columbia FB2545
It’s Always You – Turner Layton Columbia FB2614
You Stepped Out Of A Dream – Turner Layton Columbia FB 2713

I wonder if the FB following the word Columbia stands for "Forever Banished"
Finally a short list of titles that the catalogue books state received an issue but I have yet to find any of the many members who have replied who have seen or heard them
The Breeze & I – Geraldo & His Orchestra Parlophone 1769
If Tears Could Bring You Back – The Organ, The Dance Band & Me Parlophone F 1786
Goodnight Again – Carroll Gibbons & His Orchestra Columbia FB2547
Daddy – Carroll Gibbons & His Orchestra Columbia FB2693
Good Morning Sergeant Major – Joe Loss & His Band HMV B.D. 5660
The London I Love – Joe Loss & His Band HMV B.D. 5667
There Goes That Song Again – Joe Loss & His Band HMV B.D. 5685
And one with a prophetic title
Where Are You – Adelaide Hall Decca F 7994
