I've been having issues with it for years!
1. I give it a stack of songs to play, usually a few hours worth and, it'll play most of them but some it just refuses to play and skips right over them! I figure it's got something to do with the way they're titled so, I go into properties on each track it won't play and rename it to the full version I want it to have. I just did about 30 tracks this afternoon but haven't had the chance to play them, yet, to see if that's a fix. There's still about 80 more that I have to deal with.
2. Some of the titles I give it show up in the play list in Japanese or Korean!! In some cases, it grabs all these bizarre titles from thin air that I've never heard of before and puts them in place of the titles I originally gave them!
3. LOTS of the tracks just show up as "Track 05" or whatever number they had on their original CD, not the one I made and reduced them to MP3's from!
4. Those tracks it refused to play when I was playing them from my hard drive play fine when I copy them over to a jump drive and play them from there! And, I noticed this afternoon that most of them have the track number "01" or "07"!
5. I have a lot of tracks that I made into MP3's ON Windows Media Player and their extension comes out WMP but, the player refuses to play any of those! Why would it not play tracks it made with its own extension?? And I have no way to transfer them into WAV's or MP3's.
6. Some tracks have a Wav extension instead of WAV but the ones with Wav won't play on anything!
7. After a few tracks in the play list play through, the player will start playing the next track in line before the progress bar gets to the end of the track playing! Usually, it's only a couple seconds but, if I let it go long enough, it'll eventually start playing "track 2" about 20 seconds before "track 1" is done (according to the progress bar).
8. If I start deleting played tracks, it keeps telling me that the top track IS the second track in line! So, I end up with two copies of track 2, even though the top one still plays track 1! And they both show the same length!
9. Although this one I don't mind very much, if I have various stacks of play lists on it, I can go back to the very first one, or any one before the last one, click "Clear List", at the top of the player and everything goes away! BUT, if I click on the left arrow at the top of the play list, the first of those recently cleared play lists comes back!
